This next shot is in my hometown Santa Isabel. The ruin is what is left of Hacienda Magueyes and is located near a residential and commercial area. The ruin is protected by the government and can not be tampered with or restored without their direct supervision. To learn more please click here. The La Guancha Boardwalk (Español: Paseo Tablado La Guancha) is a boardwalk in the La Guancha sector of the La Playa barrio in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico, facing the Caribbean Sea and built under the administration of Rafael Cordero Santiago, Mayor of Ponce from 1989 to 2004. This is a perfect place to mingle with the locals (Ponceños) and to look out at the water and catch a cool breeze. There are also other things to do, like for example, feeding the pelicans and other birds around. For one dollar you can buy a bag of sardines and feed them to the birds. These activity has been done for years so the birds are used to the humans and they get really close to you in order to "catch" their free meal. Pelican at La Guancha BoardwalkThank you! This was taken around eight in the morning on a bright and sunny day. SeascapeI'm always looking for sources of knowledge in the photography field. One day I found a website called FroKnowsPhoto.com. The website is run by Jared Pollin from Philadelphia and he has a very special way of teaching photography skills. Jared, aka "The Fro", has a section where you send in a raw file and, if selected, he will edit it and post a video on his website for everybody to see. Also, he will make the file available for all the readers to download and edit it as well. Below is the video of my Raw file. FroKnowsPhoto.comMy wife love cats and honestly, I do too. Right now we own three! Cats are a bit strange, they don't depend on humans to survive, like dogs do. Instead, cats show a little affection when they need something from us, like food for example. I just love to watch my sons play and have fun with them. Those blue eyes |
